Managing Notifications

You can change your notification settings for all calls and messages in FaceCall Settings. 

  1. Go to your Profile and tap the Settings.
  2. Tap on Notifications.

How to Mute Individual or Group Notifications

You have the option to mute calls and messages for a specific period of time in individual or group chats. Even if you receive messages, your device won't vibrate or make noise to alert you.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Chats tab.
  2. Swipe left on the conversation you want to mute. This will reveal two options: Mute and Delete.

  3. Select Mute.
  4. Choose the duration for muting notifications from 8 hours, 1 week, or 1 year. Once selected, the individual or group chats will be muted.

To turn notifications back on:

  1. Open an individual or group chat.
  2. Tap on the name of the individual or group chat.
  3. Select Muted and tap Unmute.

Here are some tips to ensure you don't miss important notifications:

  1. Customize Notifications: Use FaceCall's notification settings to customize alerts for different types of messages and calls.
  2. Set Priority Notifications: Mark important contacts or chats as priority to ensure you receive notifications for them even in Do Not Disturb mode.
  3. Use Notification Tones: Assign unique notification tones to different contacts or types of messages to differentiate alerts easily.
  4. Monitor Notification Settings: Regularly check your notification settings on both FaceCall and your device to ensure they are configured correctly.
