How can I enhance my messaging experience on FaceCall?

Here are some tips to make the most out of your messaging experience:

  1. Proofread Before Sending: To minimize the need for editing, take a moment to proofread your messages before sending them.

  2. Use Emoticons and Stickers: Add personality to your messages by using emoticons and stickers.

  3. Send Voice Messages: If typing is inconvenient, use the voice message feature to quickly send audio clips.

  4. Customize Notifications: Adjust your notification settings to ensure you don’t miss important messages.

How to message yourself?

You can send messages to yourself to keep track of notes and messages. Messages to yourself work and look like regular chats, but you can't make voice or video calls, mute notifications, block or report yourself, or see your last seen and online status.

Messaging yourself on FaceCall is easy and can be done in simple steps. Here’s how:

  1. Launch the FaceCall App: Launch the FaceCall app on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the Chats Tab: Tap on the Chats tab.
  3. Start a New Chat: Tap on the New Chat New Chat.png button. Tap on it to start a new conversation.
  4. Find and Select Your Own Contact: Scroll through your contact list or use the search bar to find your own name or phone number. Tap on your contact to open a new conversation with yourself.
  5. Start Messaging Yourself: Automatically, this will open a new conversation with yourself. You can now start typing messages, saving links, attaching files, or setting reminders in this personal chat.

How to send media, contacts or location?

To send media, documents, links, location, or contacts, you must first allow the app to access your Contacts, Photos, Camera, or Location Services in your phone Settings > Privacy.

  1. Open an individual or group chat, tap plus.png.
  2. To quickly take a photo or video, tap dslr-camera.png.
  3. To send a photo or video, tap image.png.
  4. To attach a document, tap file.png.
  5. To send a contact, tap user.png.
  6. Tap send.png or Send if prompted.

Please remember the following information:

  • Document: You can select a document of up to 2 GB from iCloud Drive or other apps such as Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
  • Location: Please provide your area or a nearby place.
  • Contact: If you want to send information about a contact, tap Next. You can deselect specific information on the Share Contacts screen that you do not want to be shared. By default, all details stored in the phone's address book for the selected contact will be shared.

How to turn off auto–save for photos, videos and files?

To disable the auto-save feature, you can:

  1. Navigate to your Profile and then select Settings.
  2. On your Settings select Data and Storage.
  3. Within this section, you will find the options to toggle off the Save to Photos or Save to Gallery feature.

By deactivating these options, you can prevent automatic saving of your data to the designated locations.
