What are chat filters?
Chat filters allow you to quickly organize and find your chats. Efficiently managing conversations becomes a breeze with the use of these predefined filters. Here’s how you can leverage chat filters to keep your messaging experience streamlined and clutter-free.
You can select one of four filters at the top of your Chats tab:
- All: This is the default view where all your messages are displayed. Every chat, whether read or unread, favorite or group, is shown in this comprehensive list.
- Unread: This filter shows chats with messages that you have either marked as unread or have not yet opened.
- Favorites: This filter displays chats from your favorite contacts.
- Groups: This filter consolidates all your group chats in one place.
Selected filters are highlighted in blue. They stay active until you switch the filter view or close and reopen FaceCall.
By using these filters, you can enhance your messaging experience, ensuring that important conversations are easily accessible and that your chats are organized in a way that suits your needs.
How do I search for messages within a chat?
To search for messages:
- Start by opening the chat where you want to search for messages.
- Tap on the chat name at the top of your screen to access the Chat Info.
- Once in the Chat Info, look for and select Search.
- Type in the keyword or phrase you are looking for in the search bar.
- The app will then highlight and take you to the matching messages containing the keyword or phrase.
