How to Silence Unknown Callers

Anyone who can find your FaceCall profile may be able to call you, even if you haven’t contacted them before or saved them as a friend or contact. An unknown caller is someone you haven’t chatted with or added to your contacts. You can block users or silence calls from unknown callers by changing your privacy settings.

Silencing calls from unknown callers helps you focus on conversations that matter, preserves your privacy, and prevents unwanted contact.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your Profile user.png.
  2. Tap Settings settings.png at the top right corner.
  3. Go to Privacy and Security.
  4. Tap Calls.
  5. Turn on Silence unknown callers.

You can see missed calls from unknown callers in the Calls tab and in your notifications, but your phone won’t ring. You can call an unknown caller back directly from the Calls tab.

Note:
If you call or message a silenced caller, FaceCall will recognize them as a known contact and their calls will no longer be silenced in the future. If you want to stop receiving calls from a specific FaceCall user, you can block them.
