The Control your personal info section in FaceCall's Privacy Checkup helps you manage who can see your personal information and activity. This feature allows you to choose the best audience for your personal details, online status, and communication preferences.
Profile Photo Settings
Your profile photo is one of the first things people see when they interact with you on FaceCall. You can control its visibility by selecting from these options:
- Everyone: Anyone on FaceCall can see your profile photo
- Friends & Contacts: Only people in your contact list or friend network can view your photo
- Nobody: Your profile photo remains private and hidden from all users
- Exception Settings: You can add specific users as exceptions who will override your general settings, giving you granular control over photo visibility
Last Seen & Online Status
This setting controls when others can see your activity and availability on FaceCall:
- Who can see your last seen: Choose between Everyone, Friends & Contacts, or Nobody
- Who can see when you're online: Select Everyone or use the same setting as your last seen preference
If you choose not to share your online status, you won't be able to see other users' last seen and online information
Read Receipts
Read receipts let other users know when you've viewed their messages:
- Enabled: Others will see when you've read their messages
- Disabled: Your message reading activity remains private
- Mutual functionality: This feature typically works both ways - if you can see others' read receipts, they can see yours
