How to manually update FaceCall

We recommend to always use the latest version of FaceCall to access new features, security enhancements, and performance improvements. Automatic updates are enabled by default in app stores, but if you've disabled them, you can manually update using the steps below.

Before updating:

  • Ensure a stable internet connection
  • Back up your call history and settings

For iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the App Store: Launch the App Store from your home screen.
  2. Search for FaceCall: Use the search bar to find the app.
  3. Tap Update: If an update is available, an Update button will appear next to FaceCall. Tap it to install.

Enable automatic updates:
Go to Settings > App Store and toggle on App Updates

For Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store: Launch the Play Store app.
  2. Search for FaceCall: Use the search bar to locate the app.
  3. Tap Update: If an update is available, an Update button will appear. Tap to install.

Enable automatic updates:
Open Google Play Store > Menu > Settings > Auto-update apps, then choose your preference.

Important Notes:

  • Back up chats before updating to prevent data loss.
  • Ensure a stable internet connection during the update.
  • FaceCall updates are tied to your device's app store, not OS updates.
  • If no update appears, you’re already using the latest version. For issues, reinstall FaceCall or contact support.
