FaceCall may send you updates directly through an official FaceCall chat account. This is a one-way chat where FaceCall shares things like:
- What’s new (features, improvements, announcements)
- Helpful tips for using FaceCall
- Important service notices (when relevant)
Important to know
- You can’t call FaceCall or message back through the official chat.
- Availability may vary depending on your country/region or app version.
- FaceCall will never ask you to share sensitive personal information in this chat.
How FaceCall’s official chat works
When you receive a message from FaceCall’s official chat, you may see an in-chat notice indicating it’s an official account (for example, a system message like “This is an official account of FaceCall”).
The official chat is intended for announcements and guidance—not account troubleshooting.
How to confirm it’s really FaceCall
To help you identify the official FaceCall chat account, check for these signs:
- Verified/Official label: The account name or profile may show a verified badge
or an “Official FaceCall” label (exact display may vary by device/app version).
- Account description: In the account info/profile details, it should clearly say something like “Official FaceCall Account.”
- No requests for sensitive info: The official account will not ask for:
- Passwords
- One-time passwords (OTP) or verification codes
- Payment details
- Government IDs
- Full card/bank information
If someone claims to be FaceCall but doesn’t look official
Treat it as a scam. Don’t reply or click links you don’t trust.
What to do
- Block the account
- Report the chat/account (if available in your app)
- If you already shared information, secure your account (change passwords where relevant and enable any available security options)
Does FaceCall have any other official chat accounts?
Yes. FaceCall has one other official chat account:
- FaceCall Support — used to help you when you need assistance with your FaceCall account or app issues.
If you receive messages from other accounts claiming to be “FaceCall,” assume it’s not official and report/block it.
How to stop receiving messages from FaceCall’s official chat
If you’d rather not receive updates:
- Mute the chat (to stop notifications), or
- Archive the chat (to remove it from your main chat list), or
- Block the chat (to stop future messages)
Note: In some cases, FaceCall may still send critical service-related notices where applicable, even if you mute or archive.
Need help?
